The Floodgates open
Despite it being the second time it never ceases to amaze us. All the words we've been speaking to him for months and months he's been storing, and are now coming out. It's as if the soundtrack was there all the time and we just now to turned off the mute button.
He just turned to me on the airplane at one point and said, fully formed, "Este, qué es?" ("What is this?"). And then, "Por qué?" ("Why?"). Now he just points things out while strolling down the street with such relish.
