Mamu had to go back to Asia while Dadu is taking the kids to Panama. Big helping hand from Amah and KunKung helping watch the kids while Dadu packed and worked.
Special thanks to Tia Carmen, who went above and beyond the call of duty bringing us dinner, cleaning up, helping bathe and dress the kids, driving us to LAX and making sure we were past TSA (whew!).
Priority Access my A**, what you want to do is delay boarding as much as possible, so they (in the words of a fellow single travelling dad) burn as much energy as possible.
Biggest problem with travelling solo with two kids: pee-time. How do you deal with holding one sleeping kid on your arms and another one who wants to go pee but has to be raised to the toilet (and happens to have taken off his shoes (ugh, sticky airplane toilet floors)). The answer is: you can't (on time), so you end up using the spare clothes you brought to change him out of his wet pants.
Arriving at MIA, and waiting for the stroller, Javier as usual was the early riser, Joaquin the slower one.
Luckily our gate was next to La Carreta (the airport gods smiled upon us!), despite the short layover. Joaquin picked that time for a pee break, they accidentally threw away our food while we were in the potty, and then gave us twice as much breakfast in replacement. Score twice!
All these American Airlines flights, useful for teaching Joaquin the letter "A".
Dadu even had time to watch TV (Community and the last Steve Carrell The Office).
Oops, waited around for the double-stroller to arrive at the luggage belt, didn't realize it was in the Oversize section (wait, PTY has one?) until after had filed Lost Luggage Claim.
Safely with home cooked meals, courtesy of Grandma & Grandpa. The weather, as usual, is very hot.

Wow, quite an experience for you Jaime!
Wow, I'm impressed! I don't think I'd even attempt a trip like that with two little kids in tow. I was wondering how you'd handle potty time. ;)
Well done Jaime! I am nervous traveling alone with one... you have inspired me.
Shirtless Cham boys. Classic.
