Growing up
Joaquín is now able to figure out a problem like "if you have 90 robbers and it takes one policeman to each catch 10 robbers, how many policemen are needed?". He keeps asking me to give him problems like this.
Meanwhile, Joyce and I both noticed (especially me because I was away on the company trip) that within a week, Javier's language abilities took a sort of quantum leap. His pronunciation in Spanish and Chinese is really clearer, and is able to come up with more grammatically complex sentences. It was like I woke up to find a different kid next to me.
